Ubud King Palace
Next tourist destination will be visited is Puri Saren, common called Ubud King Palace located at the center of Ubud where it was used as a government center in the empire era. The luxury Entrance Gate (Candi Bentar) and dressy ancient house building are decorated by the fertile tropical garden. Uluwatu Temple located at the southern tip of Bali Island , take about 1,5 hours drive from Ubud or 30 minutes from Kuta. Uluwatu Temple is one of the best spot in Bali to enjoy spectacular sunset around 6 PM. This temple was built by holy Hindhu priest, Mpu Kuturan, who was coming from Java Island to spreading Hindhu teaching about 9 century. The inner sanctum of temple is perched majestically on the edge of a step cliff that towers above the legendary surf break of southern Bali . Kecak & Fire Dance
During the sun set time, you be able to enjoy Balinese art performance at Uluwatu, Kecak & Fire Dance. This dramatic dance will be performed from 6 PM lasting about 1 hour at open stage Uluwatu, just a few walk from Uluwatu Temple . What makes the Kecak as unique dance is that the accompanying music is provided by the human voice, a choir of a hundred men or more sitting in concentric circles, swaying, standing up, lying prone as the story develops. Taken from the Hindu epic Ramayana, the dance tells the story of Prince Rama and his rescue of Princess Sita, who has been kidnapped by the evil King of Lanka. At the end of the story, one of the dancers will be burn by coconut shell.
Last destination of Ubud Uluwatu Tous is Jimbaran Bay where fresh Balinese sea food dinner can be enjoyed. From Uluwatu takes about 25 minutes drive. Jimbaran was fisherman village now is becoming popular as center of sea food restaurant along Jimbaran beach. Tables are set up right on the sand and if you sit at the lowest tables at high tide, you can even get your feet wet. The sea breeze is cool, along the area is lit by candles and oil torches after dark. It's a romantic experience to eat fresh seafood with your toes in the sand while the waves of the bay lap the shoreline.
